Kids Camp, established in 2014, has grown into our largest and most impactful program. Inspired by our athletes’ desire to give back, the camp provides a life-changing experience for children with amputations or limb loss. These young individuals, aged 8 to 12, often meet adults who look like them for the first time, creating an inspiring and empowering environment.
Our goal is to raise $180,000 annually through the Kids Camp Annual Fund to cover all expenses for 20 children to attend a week-long, all-expenses-paid camp. During their time at camp, veterans—who themselves have faced similar challenges—serve as mentors and coaches. These Heroes teach adaptive techniques, share life lessons, and create lasting bonds with the children.
